Abstract

Species are distinct from one another due to the genetic characteristics conferred on them during evolution. Such geneticaliy distinct species have to interact in any ecosystem in order to serve a common function. These interactions are the roots of productivity and stability in the agroecosystem. Protecting its constituent genetic pool from the pesticide-induced stresses is therefore very vital.
